At its Harvest Festival assemblies this week the school will be collecting donations for the Colchester Night Shelter. Particularly welcome would be donations of non-perishable food and toiletry items with a long sell-by date. These can be sent in to school from 1 – 5 October.
Key Stage 2 children should place donated items on the stage in the Junior Hall as they walk to their classrooms on entering school in the morning. The items will be kept on stage.
Key Stage 1 children should pass on donated items to their class teacher.
Anyone who can volunteer to help transport donations to the Night Shelter after school on 5 October should let Mr Hutchings know.
