The PSA is running a t-shirt design competition in the run-up to the Summer Fair next month. Pupils are encouraged to design and make a t-shirt, wear it to the Summer Fair and enter the competition. There will be a first prize and a runner-up prize for the best Infant and Junior designs.
As you are probably aware, all the pupils in the school were given the opportunity in classlast week to design the layout for a t-shirt based on the theme of ‘Summer’ and they should have brought their designs home.
If you child wants to enter the competition you have two options:
- your child can develop their design through to final artwork at home, with some parental guidance or
- attend a PSA t-shirt making workshop. This is a great opportunity for the children to get creative – making it easy for them and for you.
The workshops, which cost £3.50 per session will be held in the Year 2 demountable classroom in the Infant playground straight after school from 3.15-5pm. A prepared t-shirt will be provided ready for your child to get creative.
There are limited places at the workshops so places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Get your cheques (payable to Hamilton Primary PSA) and completed booking forms (sent home last week) in as soon as you can. The workshop dates are:
- Fri 27th June 3.15-5pm
- Mon 30th June 3.15-5pm
- Tue 1st July 3.15-5pm
- Mon 7th July 3.15-5pm
- Wed 9th July 3.15-5pm
