Win a new car in our £2 a ticket raffle

Great Big Small Charity Car Draw logoHamilton PSA are taking part in a national raffle which offers a brand new Mini First as the prize, with raffle tickets costing just £2. The raffle is organised by another charity, the FSI, and we get to keep £1.90 of all ticket income we sell.

You can buy raffle tickets online or you can purchase good old fashioned paper raffle tickets. Ask Howard Lake about these in the playground in the mornings, or come to our stall at the Summer Fair.

Why not sell raffle tickets yourself? Tell your friends and family about the web link, or sell a book of raffle tickets to them yourself. We can sell them throughout the summer, right up to 6 September.

T-Shirt Design Competition 2010

Make your tshirt a winnerThe T-shirt design competition is back again, leading up to the Summer Fair on 10 July. Pupils need to design and make a t-shirt, wear it to the event, and enter the competition. The theme for the design is ‘Summer’.

There will be a prize for the best Infant and Junior design.

Children can make their t-shirts at home or sign up for a PSA t-shirt making workshop. But book early as these often sell out quickly.

Find out more by downloading the Powerpoint presentation and the booking form (PDF).

Where did we get the t-shirts from? We used polo-shirts.co.uk for their cheap t shirts.

Election Day family trip to Bewilderwood

Bewilderwood

Stuck with something to do after you’ve voted on Election Day? The school is closed all day since it is being used as a polling station, so Hamilton PSA is organising a family trip to Bewilderwood, so do join us.

Based in Wroxham (Norfolk), Bewilderwood is “a huge forest of wild family fun and outdoor adventure treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges, ‘Crocklebogs’, boat trips and marsh walks”.

The trip will take place on Thursday 6 May 2010, departing from Hamilton at 8.30am, returning around 5.30pm.

The cost is £15.50 per person.

This is a family day out but we appreciate not everyone can get a day off work. If you can twist someone’s arm to take your children please ensure you have a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children. Thank you.

Easter Chocolate Raffle on 31 March

Easter Creme Egg

Due to the limited space in the playground this year the PSA have decided to hold an Easter chocolate raffle for the children instead of chasing after silver and gold stones.

All tickets will be £1 each and you can buy them every day next week before and after school. They will entitle the children to a small Easter treat after school on 31 March, and will automatically enter them into the bigger Easter Raffle.

The prizes will be available on 31 March as the tickets will have been drawn by then.

Do you have any chocolate donations? They would be greatly appreciated to help us keep costs down. If you do, please hand them in to the school office.

Also, we would welcome volunteers to help with this event, in particular the rapid distribution of small chocolate eggs to large numbers of ticket holders. Please contact Diana on 765790 if you can help.

Questions?

We’ll give you the answer to that one – YES!

Tables cost £25 and a team can consist of up to six players. The event opens at 7.30 for a prompt start at 7.45.

The quiz will be held on the first Friday of next term, so don’t leave booking until after the Easter holiday.
